“Transitional Programme for ASD children from K3 to P1 schooling”

 

Sponsored 3 year pilot programme to assist graduating K3 preschoolers on the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to transit into Primary 1 in mainstream schools facilitating minimal adverse emotional disruption and promote smooth transition to enhance and improve their continued education. This programme involved several therapists, teachers, parents training, 72 ASD students, 3 Heep Hong Centres, 3 mainstream participating schools and The University of Hong Kong for research data to show the effectiveness and necessity of such a project.
